Joe Crofton

Joe Crofton has been playing guitar for about 30 years. He joined his first band, Spankenstein, doing mostly originals, in Boston, MA at the age of 22.

Joe relocated to Las Vegas in 1998. He immediately sought bandmates and within a few months was in another original band called Fountainhead. This band dissolved within a year.

In 2000, Joe joined his first cover band called Stungun. In 2001 he met Guy DeMarco. This meeting was the catalyst for Joe to leave Stungun and form Half Fast along with Guy. Joe was a member of Half Fast until January 2005.

From 2005 through 2009, Joe focused on writing and recording. Joe was also a known player in the open mic scene. In November 2009, when the drummer of Stungun moved back to Las Vegas, the first version of Circuit Benders was born.

Joe’s main musical influences are The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, David Bowie, Velvet Underground, The Ramones, Talking Heads, Van Halen (Roth years), and Nirvana.
