Joe Volpe has been playing guitar for more than 30 years. His first band, Id, played in various venues in the Arizona state area, including Lake Havasu City, Flagstaff, and Prescott.

Id, which later became Infinite Domain, played periodically through the 1990s before breaking up.

Joe Volpe connected with his friend and former college roommate Guy DeMarco, when he first joined The Circuit Benders in 2012 as a guitarist/keyboardist.

Joe left the group in 2015, but rejoined in 2018.
